If it's too long, cut it!

I finished piecing Hummmmm  yesterday.

I  looked at it again this morning, before joining the letters, and have decided to cut the mmmmm in half - it's nearly 17" long!!!!!!! which, together with the H and U makes this very very long!

Tonya - I promise I'll go back to making smaller letters - I got slightly carried away!

Addendum - I'm going to redo it.  The H and U are far too big so make new ones and cut the mmmm in half. Tonya - orphan letters on their way!

it's great, Clare. Love the fabrics. I think it would be really cool if you made a Bah Humbug quilt for yourself.

Your hummmmmm would look so cute in musical notes!

I think they *are* musical notes!

Most certainly are.

I love the M, especially! :)

Yes, Clare, keep it and make your own quilt. I love the way you did the m. You can do new letters for Tonya--won't take long, right? :)

This will sound silly considering I'm 61 and my daughter is 35, but I often sign my emails to her with "mommmm". How it got started, I don't know.
