A snow day meant a chance to sew some more. I was able to get a whole block done!! I really had to think and go slow for the head to be part of the B. The black things coming out of his head are antennas.
I love his fat feet.
I was concerned about all the blank white space....then I remembered Tonya likes to hand quilt and I am sure she can fill it with adorable stuff!
I still have that other bug body. He will definitely get fat feet!

I have to admit, this will probably be longarm machine quilted. These big quilts would take me forever to hand quilt... but the blank white space helps the bug to breathe - good to have areas like that in a quilt. congrats!
