So Sew!

So I finally sewed the word sew in bright colours for Carol's birthday quilt. The first hard part of this exercise was remembering I had promised to do this (sorry, Carol!). The second challenge will be getting this into the mail this week. I hope it isn't too late!

Unruly components:  letters. sashing and border ( made from different shades of blue and black and yellow out of my stash )

Virtues Quilt

Honesty 48" x 52"

I pulled out some of my "virtues" words--I only made 7 

out of the 52 I had planned to make--anyway...  

This quilt happened today with leftover parts from old projects.
